95 maxima
on the front of the under carriage there is a "splash" plate to block water and tire throw off from hitting the engine esp. Alternator. I need to replace one and don't know what they are called, how to ask or search for the part. Can you help me?

Hi there,

I am unsure as to the exact terminology for this item, but it is commonly called a lower engine splash guard. That should indicate people in the know what you are referring to.
