Electrical problem
1995 Nissan Maxima 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Engine stopped while driving.
Cant hear fuel pump on when key turn on.
Parts store tells me there is a sending unit on top of fuel tank and fuel pump inside feuel tank.
Which one would be the problem?

First check fuses and fuel pump relay to ensure the pump is even getting power. If it is then the fuel pump in the tanke is faulty, the sending unit is what sends the fuel level to the gauge.
