I have a vibration when it idles and when you first press the gas.

I had mounts replaced and the vibration showed up. The Nissan dealr said becasue I used After amrket mounts, they are stiffer than Nissaan mounts. So that is the problem. When I took the car back to the Natiaonal CHain that I had the work done to they said it may be a pully. Either a harmonic balencer? Or A/c compressor, not mounts Is this possible

Yes it is possible, without looking at the car its tough to diagnose, be safe and have another shop look at it, the dealer perhaps, I dont have any spec on the mount stiffness but it is possible,
and if the shop said you need a pulley which one, harmonic balancer? This would cause a vibration

Well. They said it is not the pulley, they are claiming it is the Torque converter. I don't know. At first they claimed it was bad gas causing the vibration and they have gone through numeorus excuses and now they basically say I need a new transmission. I am not a mechanic. But it seems fishy to me. It is a national chain. So I am thinking of calling cusmter service to make a complaint?

Thank you for your help. Any guidance would be appreciated.
