I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, AND MY CAR STARTED TO SLOW DOWN ON ITS OWN AND TURNED OFF. AFTER A FEW HOURS I WAS ABLE TO START IT AGAIN, AND IT DROVE 4 MILES AND TURNED OFF AGAIN. WHAT CAN POSSIBLY BE WRONG?

There are many possible reasons and you need to verify what is missing causing the stalling and non starting. It could be electrical, ignition or fuel.

At bottom of post there is a " First Things to Check " link. Go there to get an idea what to look for and let me know what is missing causing the non starting. It would be related to the stalling.

When the engine stalled, were all the dash indicators lights showing? If they do not show, the most likely fault would be a bad ignigiotn switch.
