2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse BUY OR NOT

Personally I own a 03 eclipse rs with close to 100k miles on it. The myth about the marker where stuff starts to die is a myth. Things will go in any type of car and with proper upkeep any car will go for 100's of thousands of miles. It depends what you want to do with the eclipse also. The new 4g eclipse v6 is a beast when it comes to performance. The 4g 4cyl is a bit quicker than the gs 3g eclipse. For the price of a 3g eclipse now around 5k for a 4cyl 2000-2005 and 8k for a v6 with all the goodies 2000-2005 I would go for the 3g v6. Good bang for your buck. If your into modding etc the 4cyl 4g64 motor is a really good platform without to many mods for a turbocharger or something of your choice! Ripp mods makes some mean superchargers for the v6 00-05 eclipse.
