Noises problem
1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i ran my car low on oil and I turned it off. When I started it up half an hour later it had a loud tick that doesnt go away, its there at idle and it gets a little louder with higher rpms than idle. Im pretty sure its in the head cause the tick is higher up sounding in the engine but I dont know what it is. My friend thinks I have a bent vaulve so if you think its a bent vaulve how would I know it is without takeing the head completly apart. I have already takein the head off the car. And all the vaulve faces seem fine. The exsaust vaulves are a carmal color and the intake vaulve faces are black. I found that odd, but the guy I bought it off of said it was a fresh rebuild with about 1000 miles on it. It is the turboed eclipse with a 4g63t engine. Oh and the piston faces seem to have no scareing ether and the camshaft lobes seem to be fine too. I dont know if any of that helped, I also kind of hot roded the car 10 mins before I turned it off too haha. Thats probably why it has the tick now, but anyways thank you for listening and let me know if you can help me

Okay you need to open it up and investigate, the valve lash is not adjustable-might require new set of valve lifters/camshaft-after you check the engine oil pressure with a mechanical gauge to rule the oil pump
