I have a 5-speed transmission, and recenlty the cas started jumping out of 4th gear and back into neutral. Now I can't get it to stay in 4th at all. Any suggestions?

Hi bmp1952,

The only suggestion avalable is to get the transmission replaced/rebuilt.

The 4ht gear synchronizer hub is faulty and it could be due to bad bearings allowing the clutch shaft to move too much to disengage 4th speed.

To rectify the problem, transmission has to be disssembled.
