2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse 6 cyl Automatic 97,000 miles

Hello,
I have noticed that sometimes it is difficult to turn the car. It is worse when it is cold and improves once warmed up. I also notice a squeeking noise when I turn. Could this be the CV joints going out?

No, but you should check your power steering fluid and make sure its full, if thats not the problem, it is best that you have the powersteering system checked especially thepump.

Also make sure the cv joints are properly lubricated. They should be lubed ever 25-30k miles as a precautionary

I woud make sure the tie rods and rod ends are lubed.
