1994 Mercury Villager check engine light

My check engine light is on. I have had a oil change and took it in to a garage and they said its fine. So how do I reset the light so it will turn off

Take it to autozone or another mechanic and have them scan and reset the light to see wha is wrong with it.

You could try disconnecting the battery for an hour and see if it resets it.
