I'm replacing the driver's side wheel bearing on my 1992 Sable (145,000miles, 3.8L)
I'm not sure how much I need to remove> Should I take out the whole sterring knuckle? I'm not sure how to take it apart and what to take apart.

You can get a manual for specifics.

The spindle has to come out and the bearing needs to be pressed out and in.

Thanks for the diagram etc about the wheel bearings on my Sable. I'm still having difficulty taking the assembly off to get to the point in the diagram. Do I also have to take the shock off as well as the steering knuckle assembly?
