MY CAR WILL GO INTO REVERSE AND WHEN PUT INTO DRIVE IT WILL NOT GO OUT OF FIRST GEAR.I DO NOT KNOW ANY HISTORY ON THIS CAR. IT DIDN'T SLIP OR HAVE ANY SIGNS OF TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. I CHECKED FLUID LEVEL AND IT IS OK. ANY IDEAS?

Hi there,

something has failed with in the transmission, as they are rather complex items it would be unwise to try and guess what the problem may be, I would get a transmission specialist to inspect and advise for you.
