2000 Mercury Sable 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i Have a 2000 sable and it doesn't start. The battery is good but won't start. Think it might be starter, not sure. Don't even know where it is located.

Does the engine try to crank at all or just getting a click noise? One click than probably starer, multiple clicks then faulty charging system. To find starter just trace positive battery cable down engine compartment, will lead to starter.

If it's cranking then starting and charging systems are good. Can you hear the fuel pump come on when you first turn key without cranking? If not then fuel pump fuse or relay maybe bad.
