Son put 2 quarts of oil in my car wen only needed 1 quart or lil less. 2 days later while driving on hwy. The car started smoking gray & stopped running. Got it towed home & is leaking oil & will not start. The battery was dead from the tow. Tried jumpping it & it only makes a click noise.

Doubtful an extra quart would cause all that. I'd be looking at why it needed oil in the first place. There may have been a leak that finally got worse. Take a peek at the serpentine belt. If it broke the generator would have stopped charging the battery. If it runs the water pump the smoking could have been due to the engine overheating.
