1992 Just wont start catch? I know it something simple?

I have a 1992 mercury sable GS, with a 3.8 engine with 60,000 miles on it
it is automatic trans.


it has a new battery & all of a sudden it stop running one day it with turn over but just wont start?

ive heard it could be the coil, or the box? I dont know

First before you start checking out those I would like you to check for spark, bright blue well defined and also check for fuel at the fuel rail. And any blown fuses?
