I have a 19092 Grand Marquis LS edition with 126,000 miles and a V8 engine. We had a problem with the power window not working, so far we have replaced the regulator and it works, but noticed that the switch will not lower the Driver's side window and will not unlock all doors. We got another switch and found we could get all the windows down, but the outside keypad is then left disabled-what and how can we fix this? Thanks for the help.

Did you check the new switch with the old one? Does it have the same contacts and terminals?

Yes, we have checked it and the only thing different is the last 2 digits on our car is AA and on the other switch we got it is BA-we are not sure if it has something to do with them being compatible or not. We also did not know if there was something that we needed to reset or not. Thanks for any help as we try and figure this out.
