Car quit suddenly while driving 40 MPH. Spedo went nuts right before it died. Engine cranks over fine. Started on 2 out of 12 attempts, idled fine, but died as soon as placed in Drive.
Ignition switch is worn - have to align ears to get key in.
Related? Seems like an electrical problem. Also, battery drains if car not driven for 2 weeks. If driven daily, battery is fine.

Do this immediately when it refuses to start-spray carb cleaner into the throttle body-if it fires up and dies out-fuel problem. Don't fire up look for spark then comeback and tell us what's missing-

Ignition switch is worn - have to align ears to get key in. Could be the problem causing the delay in start-
