1992 Mercury Marquis car wont turn off

1992 Mercury Marquis V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1992 Mercury Grand Marquees the key broke off in the ignition not to long ago but we wear able to start and turn off the car with out any problems. But tonight I got home and boom it wont turn off. The ignition will just spin counter clockwise, Clock wise however it continues to try to start. Any ideas would be very helpfull

For now, disconnect ground cable from battery.

Sounds like you are going to have to remove the ignition switch and replace it. Replacement instructions are below.
