2002 Mercedes Benz C230 Instrument panel

The pixels went out on the main dash panel some years ago and it was repaired under warranty. I have noticed that the pixelos are starting to fade once again starting at the top of the dash. Is this a recognized peoblem with MB and is there a service bulletin on this problem.

Due to the design, this problem is pretty common. Only thing to do is try to protect your instrument cluster from the sun. If the repair was done less than a year ago then the cluster would be covered by parts warranty.
