2006 Mercedes Benz C230 No Audio

My car stereo was working very well only to notice that there was no audio coming out when I played radio and CD all of a sudden. The stereo powers up very well but no audion even when I increased the volume. I don't know what could have gone wrong. Please help.

Id first look in the manual and find where the fuses are. If you have a test light check them that way. The manual will tell you which are for the radio but youll need to look for an amplifier fuse as well. Mercedes uses amplifiers separate from the radio itself with their own power source

Thanks. I later discovered that it happens when I shut the passenger front door so I adjusted the cables and it's been working fine
