Trouble starting

I have a 1987 mazda RX7, and it seem that it will start only if the engine is cool. If I drive to the store, and come back out to start it, it won't start. Maybe if I wait like 3 to 4 hours, then it will start. What's the problem with it?

Try checking the fuel pressure and comeback with the readings.

How do you check fuel pressure, and is it hard. I don't really know much about cars. Only the basics.

Find the fuel filter Tee-in the fuel line with a fuel pressure gauge and read off and comeback with the readings.

Do you have a repair manual for this RX year?
