2001 Mazda Protege passenger half shaft removel?

2001 Mazda Protege 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

I would to know it the half shaft is pressed in? Because the diver side removal and installation went smooth, not like this. I have removed the spindle end with 4 ton rated pulley puller and now from the knuckle back is stuck in the transmission. How do remove it and install later? Please Help?

HI there,

This is fitted the same as the other side, there is just a "C" clip as the other side is see pic, there should be no reason why it is so tight, may be it is cocked, tap it home and try levering evenly to pop it out.
