I cannot remove the driveaxles from the thansaxle, I have removed the control arm and tie rod but cannot budge the CV Joint Housing. What is the proceeedure here? I am not removing the drive axles from the hub as I am 'only' trying to change the clutch. How about the right side, it has an axle piece then the CV Joint housing. How does this come apart? Thank you.

Takes a pry bar, they have to be popped out of the trans, and it isnt always easy. Sometimes you need a pry bar on either side to pop it out evenly. The other side you should be able to unbolt the solid axle from the engine and remove it as one piece to get it out of your way.
