2000 Mazda MPV weird sound

MY 2000 mpv is making a fog horn sound. It usually happens when the weather termperature is cool and stops when I step on the gas to accelerate the car.

Check the air filter and the plenum for cracks.

Mine did that too, researched it and found it was a common problem. You need to replace the idle air intake valve. There is actually a Mazda service bulletin regarding this repair that you can probably google.
