1997 Mazda 626 the car wont start

I have a 1997 mazda 626 that turns over gets fire and fuel but still wont start any suggestions

Sounds like a timing belt problem that's throwing of the valve and ignition timing off. Remove the distributor cap if it has one and look at the rotor if its spinning while cranking it over if not could be the ditributor drive gear is sheared off or the belt.
