Hi there!

First off, thank you for your YouTube videos and for providing this service.

The wires on my Mazda were not labeled correctly and while replacing the battery, the grounding/negative cable what repeatedly placed on the positive side of the battery. Light sparks flew and the horn continuously sounded as the sound of what seemed to be a fan raced.

The relay and alternator fuses are in tack. The headlights, wipers, reading lights and gauge lights come on. The door ajar and radio lights don't. The stand alone key fob is inop.

Hello.

Yep they don't like having the cables reversed, so the first thing to do is check the fuses in both fuse panels, this guide can help, have the key on when doing the checks

and

Remove the battery cable and do a hard reboot of the systems

Then, if the car is not fixed we need to do a CAN scan to see which codes are present.

Please go over this guide as well and get back to me so I can help you fix it.
