After replacing the slave and throw out bearing, the clutch does not feel right?

I've got a manual transmission and I have replaced the slave and throw out bearing. Now that I have its back up and bolted in my clutch it still doesn't feel right. Now I have noticed that the fork that the slave rod pushes in was a little bit farther down than where it was wen I took out. Idk if maybe there's a chance it was not lined up right when I put it back together, but I thought it just kind of lines itself back up?

It does have a placement for the clutch secondary cylinder that the push rod needs to fit into. But can I ask if you bled the system once the job was complete? This video might help as well:
