I replaced the front driver side lower control arm.I torqued it down to the right torq. Then I had to loosen it to do something else. Now when I torq it all the way. It still moves up an down an doesn't stay in the position it was in when I torqued it. It is a brand new control arm. Do you think when I torqued it then took it off it did something to the bushings?I still got it back together.I am not driving it for this reason until I know it will be safe.

If you didn't use new nuts and bolts that is your problem. And should have been torqued with suspension loaded (weight on wheels) 121 ft lbs.

Ok.I did torque them to 121 ft lbs.I put the truck at normal ride height. The bolts are tight. Just the control arm still moves.

Ya but did you use new bolts and nuts? The locking part may be worn out.
