1995 Chevrolet Silverado upper control arms

I have cranked my torsion bars some and bought shock extenders for the front but have noticed that the upper control arms are bottoming out on the metal stopper. Does it hurt to cut them off?

They shouldn't be removed. They are there to prevent the suspension from over extending.

Someone before me has put toesion keys on it so I cant lower it any. Is there anything I could do then to get them off the stoppers?

Torsion keys? The only way I know to lower them is to remove tension by loosening the adjusters at the cross member. Can you describe what you mean by keys?

Aftermarket torsion adjusters. Their lower setting would be equivalent to stock bars cranked all the way. So I cant lower them at all and the control arms are resting on the stopper.

Wow. That means the vehicle rides like there is NO suspension. The only thing I can think of is to replace them with OEM type parts.
