After changing what I thought was just a blow low beam on my wives car and I also changed the socket due to the clips being broken off the new bulb did light the initial test I did after installing. My wife came home the next day and said neither the high or low beam works now. I rechecked my wiring on the new socket and tested it only to see a very dim bulb. This is the outer socket on the passenger side and from what I see the power feeds through the high beam bulb and ends on the outer side. Could it be dust in the other sockets disturbing the current coming through? Thank you for any help and suggestions you can offer. I need her car safe for her again.

Check fuse and relay in under hood fuse box and ground for a good connection at headlight and in diagram make sure it is clean.
