Lost transponder key and fob

I have lost all copies of the key. Can I take the ignition from a broke down Honda I have with the keys still and replace it with the ignition on my Honda I've lost the keys to?

Unfortunately this will not work. If the ECM does not recognize the key and ignition then it will not start the engine. The key has a chip in it and that is programmed into the ECM. If you are going to change this, you have to program it to tell the ECM the new key.
