1997 Honda Accord remote start

1997 Honda Accord 159000 miles

I am wondering if I need a "bypass module" to install a remote start in my 1997 honda accord? It has keyless entry and anti-theft radio, but I have not found a bypass for that year, only 1998 and up. Can you please help me out?

Depends on if your key has a chip in it or not, chipped keys are larger at the black(back) end of the key, go to a Honda parts counter with your VIN and key, they can look it up as it was built and tell you if it is chipped or not.
