1997 Lincoln Town Car passenger side front window

I went to raise the window it went up but after a loud pop or bang noise I thought something had hit the side of the car. I went to move the window down again and it went down ok but stopped on the way back up. Thanks for any help

Sounds like the window regulator broke, most likely the noise you heard. The only way to be sure is to remove the door panel and see.
