My 2007 Lexus LS460 was parked during a severe rain storm. There was less than 3 inches of water on the interior floors. The storm water rose and dropped within 30 minutes but the car does not have any electrical power. My key fob does not work and nothing has power at all. I'm sure that the water shorted something out but I can't figure it out. Any thoughts on what I should look for?

Hi Sean,

Disconnect the battery if you had not done so.

Get the interior dry before you try to get power back. Ensure the PCM and other control units are not flooded.

Check the main fuse, ALT at underhood fuse box near battery. When the ALT fuse blows, no power is supplied to all other components.
