Hi! I just bought this 94 lexus es300. I failed emission test because of too much Hydrocarbons according to emission result paper. I was trying to stop that smoking anyways, so I replaced all valve seals and head gasket. Meanwhile, I found transmission fluids inside the intake. I know there is two vacuum lines on p/s hose. After I reaplaced all valve seals and head gasket, the problem is still there. (Smoking! It starts with white smoke and turns to blue smoke)

Question : Do you think that smokin is somehow related with p/s line? (2 vacuum lines go to the intake and I found trans fluid inside the intake!)

I was also noticed that p/s fluid drop down so quickly,
(I also changed p/s pressure hose.)

The vacuum lines on the P/S hose are connected to a pressure switch which is supposed to raise engine speed in the event of a hard turn or if the steering wheel is turned to max in either direction. If this switch goes bad it will allow steering fluid to be sucked into the intake manifold. I would change the switch. I used to poor ATF into a running motor to locate exhaust leaks 'cause it burns so white. Hope this helps and thank you for your donation, Jim.
