Clutch replacement instructions please?

Trying to replace clutch - have all bolts off, drive shafts removed and appears ready to remove. Can spread trans from engine about 2" all around using 4 pry bars held by three people. When you let pry bars loose the trans case will return back against engine. Reason for replacing clutch is that it slips in 3rd and 4th gears; otherwise car runs fine.

More than likely I suspect there is either still something connected or the input shaft or bearing is seized that is not releasing.

I also attached the process from the manual just to make sure something is still not connected.
