When I try to start my jeep, the starter will just turn over, until a clicking in the engine compartment comeing from the power distrbution cener stops. Then the service engine light and shift light lights up. Then I can hear the fuel pump prime the lines. It will not get spark to the plugs until the clicking stops. Then when I try starting it agin, it will fire up the engine, then die. Then I can turn it over agin and it starts up just fine.

Sounds almost like a short to me, can you smell anything getting hot in the PDC area. When the key is turned on the fuel pump should kick on right away. I would have it scanned or at least let a mechanic look at it. It would be a few things by your description. Sounds like a a crank or cam sensor is not reading correctly? Let us know what you find out. Curt

I found a used computer and hooked it up and my jeep fired right up with no problem.
