I recently had the car looked at and put up because the check engine light on. The mechanic told us we need a crank sensor and a camshaft sensor. So I had got that and the car clicks over but does not turn completely on. What do I do?

Good afternoon.

Does the car run?

What are the codes that were set?

Please give me as much information as you can so I can help you.

See what happened was it was not running and we had got the mechanics advice and we did not go right away after hearing what the mechanic had to say. We just drove it and drove it until we were driving it one day and the car just stopped out of nowhere. We had to pull the car to the side of the road. We had it towed to my house and so then we took the mechanics advice and got the camshaft sensor and the crank sensor and we put them in. Now we are at the point where we started the car and it clicks over but it does not start all the way. We tried to jump it it does not work. Do you think it has something to do with the battery? I did not think it was a battery because the car had power just the lights are dim, but we took my battery to AutoZone and they told us that the battery was good still. So I am confused.

Okay.

Can you turn the engine by hand a complete revolution? It worries me that the engine may be locked up.

Any idea on the codes?

Does the engine turn over and over?

Yes, it turns over. What kind of codes? We are charging the battery right now with a speed charger.

What battery percentage should the battery be at? Right now it is at 18 and going up. Now as I type it is at 20 now. What number should it be at?

It should be 100%. Let it charge up all the way.

Those are the fault codes for the check engine light.

Your mechanic based his guess on codes that he saw. Those are the codes I need.
