1978 Jeep CJ7 CJ7 stalled while running, will crank but not

Try the following: shot of fuel down carb (gas or starter fliud) if starts or tries, IT IS A FUEL OR DELIVERY PROBLEM...................Turn engine over while checking a plug for spark (Another extra plug hooked to let's say #1 wire will keep you from pulling a plug), Ground plug body to a good ground, watch for spark....NO SPARK...ignition problem....check POS side of coil for 12 VOLTS w/ key on........I'm waiting for your conclusions to continue HELPING YOU FURTHER.......no pay 4 me, came here as you did w/ complicated question, My hobby to help as I have been over the years, just KNOW CJ's inside and out.
