No power

I have a 1996 jeep cherokee classic I just put a refurb transmission in it it ran great for the first 30 miles now it feals like it is loosing power it gets real sluggish any idea what could be causing this?

My best guess with that would be to check the battery first- AutoZone does a free check/recharge. Also, check the alternator. Start with the simplest, most obvious things and work your way from there- if not electrical, then check your engine components- distributor, spark plugs. Etc.

I mean I push the gas but there is hardly any pull in the engine not much pickup
