2001 Jeep Cherokee heater repair

I need to replace the heater actuator which controls the air flow to various ducts for heat/air mix. Is there a manual for taking apart the dashboard to acess the heater? Has anyone suggestions on repairs of this type?

A "Chilton" or "Haynes" manual from local parts store may sorta talk you thru the steps
