The battery, starter test good. When turn ignition everything works; fan, radio, lights etc. Nothing from the starter. No clicking nothing. A year ago the same symptoms had vehicle towed home. It started fine. Week ago happened again tried jump starting no change. Tried later in day, Started! Now will not start. Just does not crank. What else can I check before towing to shop?

Hello,

First item needs to be checked is the starter relay. A faulty relay can stop the power going to the starter, that could be why you are not hearing any noise when you turn the key.
The starter relay is located in the main junction box under the hood, close to the battery (see diagrams below).

The relay can be tested:

It can also be the igniting switch. Faulty ignition switch will not provide any power to the relay or the starter.

The starter itself can be defective as well.

I have attached the starter diagram as well for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.

Thank you.
