1996 Jeep Cherokee starter

I just got a new starter n cylinoid. The mechanic came to test it and it all wokrs but the car wont start. Battery works all the lights are on and stuff but I get no noise when I try to start. What do I do?

Could be fuse no.3 40amp, starter motor relay and park/neutral switch and ignition switch.
