Hello, I drive a 1996 jeep cherokee sport. I recently had some problems last week. I got a full tank of gas before I came in to work. Nothing was wrong at the time, when I was leaving work, heading home. I got inside my jeep and tried starting it and it would turn over but never start. I've had it at a mechanic since last thursday and so far he has replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, distributor with no luck and today he mentioned something about a crank shaft sensor. Im wondering if you have some idea on what may be wrong?

Hi johns_17, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation

Let him go at the crankshaft postion sensor-if this sensor goes kaput you won't get spark and no start at all.
