1996 Jeep Cherokee 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

my jeep will run good untill the gas gets to about 1/4tank then it will die like it not getting any gas let it sit for a while star it up it runs.

You may have a faulty fuel pump relay.

Or more then likely all the dirt and sediments in the bottom of the tank I stiring up causeing you to get that garbage and kill out the engine and let it sit for a while, it settles back down till you get fresh gas again.

Try a fuel filter change, and a draining the tank.
