My transfer case is going bad. Last night I was driving home and my engine just lost power and stopped. Jeep will not start now. Could this be the cause.

I doubt it. Your transfer case only comes into play when you're in 4wd. Check fuel pressure. This could likely be the cause of your engine failure.

The truck is a 1993 grand cherokee laedo and has all wheel drive. Could it still be the fuel pressure. Thank you,
kathy

Yes, it could. It could also be other things, as well. I've replaced a lot of ignition coils on jeeps, too. However, if that's the case, it won't lose power, it'll just DIE! (Usually) Since you lost power before it just died, I'd be more likely to blame the fuel pressure.
