Engine Cooling problem
1995 Jeep Cherokee 6 cyl Automatic

My engine electric fan keeps working after the engine has been turned off. Have to disconnect to stop fan running and then reconnect when engine has cooled down.

I just fixed the same problem on my jeep by replacing the fan relay in the engine comparmtn. My is a 1998 and the relay is located beside the battery in a fuse box--assume yours would be in the same place. It cost $10 from advance auto. There are four relays in the box (fan, asd, fuel and a/c.) Make sure you look at the label correclty so you know which relay it is.I repalced the wrong one initialy.
