When I get in to start the vehicle I turn the key and there is a dimming of the lights but the starter does not engage. There is no clicking of the starter or the relay. I checked the relay and I have no power going to the relay whatsoever. I do not know what else to check from the fuse box in the engine compartment back to the steering column to see if there is a short or a loose connection or what.

Battery connections checked and all good. Got good power to the starter but the line running to the starter that activates the selenoid has nothing. Even through the relay there is no power at all.

Check fuse no.11 60amp and no.10 40amp in the power distribution box. At the relay the black and red wire should always have power. If the 40amp checked out- Replace the ignition switch.

Thank You very much, 40 amp fuse was burnt out. Changed it out and works good now. Simple little solution to a big problem. Thank you again.
