can any one tell me will a motor out of 1997 cherokee work in my 1991 cherokee without any install problems

I'm sorry but I don't have the cross reference infor for this. Chances are, but there could be chances and you will need to change the sensors from the old engine to the new as well as vacuum lines. We always recommend a direct fit replacement for this reason.
