2001 Isuzu Rodeo Question Truck not moving when trying to AC

Hi I have a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo 6cyl automatic that has been having problems with the lower gears. When I go to accelerate the truck takes about 10-20 seconds to respond and a noise is heard from the rear end then it goes. It drives fine once over 20 miles per hour but continue to have this problem whenever I have to slow down or stop.

Thank you for the donation.

Symptoms seems to indicate a failing 1st speed of the transmission. The 1st speed is slipping causing the delay and over 20 mph, the 2nd speed starts working.

You would need to get a pressure test done to test the trans.
