It's leaking fluid but in a few different places but all of them are minimal. I have to add about a gallon a week.

Good morning,

No, it is not. The additive does not fix anything at all. All it does is clog up the radiator and the heater core tubes causing circulation issues.

It is better to pressure test the system and repair the actual leak.
